Bear Mountain

A one board model railway in Z gauge and a spiral mountain end to end with no points. Running steam and diesel locomotives with passenger and freight trains

Billinton Road

An O gauge terminus in the Southern Region showing a variety of Steam and Diesel locomotives

The Collett Family

Tomy “Vintage” children’s battery operated trains with a twist of lego. Basic but wonderful fun for the smaller train lovers ………. or even the bigger ones.

This will be the second year that this layout has been at the Cornwall Model Railway
Exhibition and we had a great time meeting everyone and getting some lovely feedback. A child friendly layout with endless possibilities, so long as the batteries last.

Cornwall O Gauge Group "Test Track"

  Supporting both fine and course scale track DC and DCC, a range of the group's rolling stock will be in action.   If you have any O gauge and want to see it run then please bring it to the exhibition and visit the "test Track" and we arrange for it to run

ECC Trebrea

An end to end layout depicting a China Clay works set in the 1970's.  DCC Operation

Graig Merthyr

Graig Merthyr is a branch terminus set in south Wales, with stock from the last vestiges of the BR Green diesel era that was slowly being replaced by the all conquering BR Blue.
The locos are detailed and weathered as well as fitted with sound.

Lower Grogley Quay

  A freelance fictitious industrial layout in the UK using redundant American stock.

Malicone

An HOe European layout based around a coal mine,  Also on display will be 2 very small layouts in Z and T Gauge

After many years exhibiting N gauge layouts Mike is exploring the larger scale

Monkton End

A compact Somerset and  Dorset Joint Railway might have been branch terminus which was mooted during “Railway Mania”.  Proposing to leave the S & D main line at Midford to serverthe Camerton coal-field. It was approved but never built.

The original layout was constructed by the late Terry Radford and was upgraded by Mike Potter with an extra board for an enlarged Goods yard.  This layout has been recently aquired by the Cornwall O Gauge Group, this will be exhibited for the first time in over six years.

Moor Boxes (Tiny worlds in Little Boxes

A selection of layouts built into a box file.  Each layout depicts a different scene with lots of detail.

Moseley Museum (2 layouts)

First the Hornby Railway Collectors Association (HCRA) will be display a range of vintage clockwork locomotive, rolling stock and accessories.

Second there will a 3 rail Hornby Dublo layout popular in the 1950's and early 60's

Newvaddon Parkway

Award winning layout featuring a station on the cornish main line.

Pensans

An OO layout of Penzance Station and throat areas with main line and sidings.  Based on late 1960's diesel era with passenger and freight movements.  The layout is under constructuon, but the track is complete and running.

Shillingbury

A fictious Heritage Centre showing a wide variety of DCC locomotives and stock built by Bernard Curnow.

Thiswaye

Thiswaye is a finescale layout, based on  a branch line station set in the south west and loosely based on Helston. There is a leaning towards Great Western Railway and it demonstrates the periods 1900-1950’s and stock will change throughout the day to reflect the different periods

The layout has been built and is run by members of Plymouth Gauge O Group using their own locomotives and stock.

Weekend Yard

As the name suggests, Weekend Yard was constructed by members of the Gauge O Guild from nothing more than a set of baseboards to a complete working layout over just one weekend show. This layout showcases what can be achieved in a short space of time.
