A compact Somerset and  Dorset Joint Railway might have been branch terminus which was mooted during the “Railway Mania”.  Proposing to leave the main line at Midford to serverthe Camerton coal-field, it was approvedbutnever built.

The original layout was constructed by the late Terry Radford and was upgraded by Mike Potter with an extra board for an enlarged Goods yard., and anoptional cassette based fiddle yard can be used.

The layout is now under the ci=ustodianship of the Cornwall O Gauge Group who will be exhibitiong the layout at a number of shows.
